We only have two more school days left, and then our grade will graduate from 8th grade. I will miss many things about Burdick, but I am excited to go to high school. I will miss my closest friends that aren’t going to the same school as mine, because I am afraid that we won’t be as close any more. I will probably stay in touch with katie, even though we’ll be in seperate high schools, because she’s one of my best friends, and we promised we would. Corrinne is going to the same high school, so I will for sure still be close with her. Many new friends will come into our lives, but hopefully the ones that we are closest with now, will still remain. There isn’t really anything that I didn’t like about my time here at burdick, I don’t regret anything that has happened. Next year will be different, but by the time I graduate from high school, I probably won’t want to leave that school, just like I don’t all the way want to leave this one. I will miss all of the people I am close friends with, and that have made my years here at Burdick the best.
The dells, yesterday…
It was so much fun! Seriously, the best time I have had at this school so far. We didn’t really swim that much, because the rides were way too fun. We started off with a short rollar coaster, then we did bumper cars. My car was slow, and corrinne beat me, grrrrararar.
Well then later we went on this ride “hades” I was all fine with it, untill right before I got on the ride. It had this steep drop and it seemed like we were going up forever, and a I knew that we would have to come down. I started freaking out and like I couldn’t breathe. When we went down I was screaming so hard, and then I was laughing, and my voice got all scratchy and dry. But then I wanted to go back on. hehehe. Then we went on the “swing” It was a blast. It was kind of bad that it costed extra though, cause otherwise I would of kept going back on it. At the end we went to the wave pool, but we only had a little bit so we had to hurry up, and the water was freezing, but Corrinne, Emily, and me dived under. Then we had to hurry up and change, and like run to the bus. lol. I think that was the best choice out of any amusment or water park, because it was both, so everyone could have a fun time.

My best experience, at this school :)
There are many things that I will remember about this school, and many people that i won’t ever forget.
I have a lot of friends here, and we’re all like a big family. Now we’re going to be leaving like our “comfort zone” and going onto High School. It’s going to be a new life after graduation.
Ropes course really brought us all together last year. We learned to work as a team, and winning didn’t matter, it was the effort and team work that we put into the activity, that was what really mattered.
I really enjoyed choir, but I know there is no choir like our’s anywhere else in this world. Next year in High school, I don’t want to take choir, because I don’t think any other choir teacher will understand the students like our choir teacher here does. There are many things that we did in choir that I won’t forget. My favorite choir experience was when we went to the Hospital and sung songs for the people in the hospital that were sick, and one guy was so touched by it he started crying. I knew that we made their christmas better by singing for them, when they didn’t expect it. We also went to contest [group, and solo] I did both, I did a solo in 6th and 8th grade. It helped me get over the fear of it. I will really miss choir, it was like my comfort zone too.
I will miss many of my friends, but I’m not going to loose my true friends. I know i’ll make new ones next year, but the friends I made here I will never forget. They’re kept in a special place in my heart.
Good luck everyone next year.

A vacation after hurricane Katrina
Usually on vacations my family travels down South, I had traveled to Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, and Alabama a month or so before Hurricane Katrina struck the southern states. We had to leave Mississippi early because of a tropical storm coming, which was a few weeks before hurricane Katrina. When we watched the news and saw the amount of damage that was done, it was in areas that we had driven through. Biloxi Mississippi is where we spent a lot of our vacation in. We had stayed on the beach on the fourth of July and watched the fireworks go off around us, but now it was mostly destroyed. Some of the buildings remained, but many were demolished. The following summer, we took a trip back down to Mississippi and saw what had happened in Biloxi. All the beautiful mansions that were along the beach, were all boarded up, and piles of wood were still laying on the ground. Almost everything was for sale, a lot of the people that we talked to, had their houses destroyed and we’re saying that their lifes were very hard now. It was very depressing. We were going to go to New Orleans and see everything there, but we could just imagine how horrible it would be, and we thought that Biloxi was depressing, we didn’t even want to see something worse. The vacation before hurricane katrina was one of my favortie, I will still have the memories to remember, before the disaster came and destroyed it all. But it was an experience that I won’t forget it will stay in my mind forever. <3
My favorite vacation…8)
My favorite vacation was two summers ago when my family and I drove down to Florida, and spent two weeks there, and then we drove up the whole east coast, and stopped in places like Svannah Georgia and South Carolina. We went all the way up to Pennsylvania, because my sister lived there. Then we drove home, we spent a month and half on vacation. That was my favorite vacation, because it was really long, and we went to so many places.
what to talk about?
I finally finished my sim city, and it is due today.
I am glad that its done, because I don’t like doing it that much, maybe it would be more fun if it wasn’t for a grade.
Today is the school carnival, mr. s is probably going to get soaked with like water balloons, or something like that.
For memorial day weekend, my sister Danielle, who lives in texas, might come up with her twin daughters who are 2. That should be fun!
And…. my favorite part…. 20 days left till summer!! <33333
21 days left
We have 21 days left.
We just got back from the band concert, they’re pretty good. It helped us get an hour out of class today :0
I’m bored, so talk to me
Our family project (mmhm) also.. [22 days left.]
For Social studies we finished our sim city project, so now we are starting this family project thing. Our family is five people it is [Krystal - the mom, Romaero - the dad, Emily - the 18 year old daugher, me "fallon" - the 16 year old daughter, and Max - the 14 year old son.] We haven”t really begun figuring out our jobs and things like that, but we will later. The point of the project is, is for us to get an idea of what it is like to run a family and have to still pay bills, get groceries, and work so we can have money. Who are your families? Also, what jobs do you have in mind?
Oh, 22 days left till graduation. =] =] =]
23 days…
We have 23 days, including weekends…till we GrAdUaTe!!! The end of the year is coming so fast, graduation, a summer in texas [for me], and then onto high school. I am still debating between two high schools, and I have no clue which one i should go to. I think I am really ready to graduate, I think I’ve been at this school long enough. I mean even though we’re going to go to seperate high schools and leave some of our good friends, we’re not going to loose them all. =] We’ll know who our true friends are after graduation [the ones that keep in touch with you] Our lifes will change [good or bad], but its an experience, and maybe it’s for the best. =] =] =] =]
